VE Testing

In addition to providing disaster communications STARC, supports the local amateur radio community by conducting ARRL Volunteer Exam (VE) sessions for perspective operators. This also allows licensed operators to upgrade their license class and thereby enhance their operating privileges. Regular testing sessions are usually held on the third Saturday of each schedule.

STARC VE testing sessions are held at Hillsborough County Sheriff Office District II, 2310 N. Falkenburg Road, Tampa, Florida, at 9:00 A.M.
